About Us

About Us

Mission

Igniting a spark in people that encourages them to discover themselves, learn new things, and bravely try new experiences. We create a space where every person can develop the very best within themselves.

Vision

We want the people who work with us to discover their passions and develop creative thinking and a sense of agency. We strive for the Fundacja Leonarda to be a place that — like a spark — inspires people to continuously grow, seek new perspectives, and create positive change around them. We dream of a world where people more often say, “I want to try” instead of “I can’t do it.”

Goals

The Foundation’s mission is to support the holistic development of individuals through activities related to sports, culture, education, science, art, new technologies, and the protection of physical and mental health, understood as complete well-being in accordance with the WHO definition. The Foundation initiates and carries out educational, social, charitable, and preventive initiatives; promotes volunteering, ecology, healthy lifestyles, and pro-European values; and also works to save lives and protect health. Special attention is devoted to supporting people in more difficult life situations, including people with disabilities, through education, rehabilitation, and professional activation, while engaging creative communities, the media, and public figures in its activities.

Marlena Jaszczak

President of the Fundacja Leonarda
I am a psychologist and a trainer in non-formal education with over 10 years of experience in project work, workshop facilitation, and coordination. For years, I have been working at the intersection of education, mental health, equality, and social development, carrying out local and international projects — particularly within the Erasmus+ program.
I graduated in psychology and have completed numerous postgraduate studies and specialized training in gender studies, sexology, project management, and youth work. I work with children, young people, and adults, conducting workshops that develop social, emotional, and critical thinking skills, and creating safe, inclusive spaces for experiential learning.

Grzegorz Pruszko

Vice-President of the Fundacja Leonarda
A graduate of geology, geography, and pedagogy studies. He is focused on observing the world and people, as well as on cooperation. Careful and often long-term observation of participants helps him build teams — groups of people capable of working together toward a common goal. An innate curiosity about the world inspires him to travel, meet new people, and acquire new skills. He is able to pass this curiosity on to others, for whom the Earth also becomes a fascinating planet.
So far, he has taught over 45,000 people. He is currently focused on supporting young trainers and teachers in building their own professional practice.
He is the author of articles on didactics and effective learning techniques, and a co-author of a geography textbook.
